Excess sweating
Excessive sweating can be socially embarrassing and may also stain clothing. Perspiration can also predispose you to skin infections such as warts and tinea. People with hyperhidrosis also have a higher incidence of eczema and other skin rashes.
There are effective treatment options for alleviating hyperhidrosis of the armpits. Inhibiting the sympathetic nerves (which normally control sweating) from stimulating the sweat glands. The effect may last between 4 and 8 months. Side effects are generally minimal but may include minor pain at the treatment sites and compensatory sweating in other areas of the body.
